Daisy's Bark: July Newsletter

Hello and welcome to Daisy's Bark - July's newsletter.

Summer is in full swing, and your pup is ready to make the most of it! From splashing in sprinklers to sunbathing in the backyard, July is all about fun in the sun. Don’t forget—hot weather, fireworks, and bugs can bring special challenges for our furry friends. This month we’re bringing you updates, cool product picks, and dog-friendly ideas to keep tails wagging all summer long!

Our craft shows and events slow down this time of year. Daisy's Cause will continue to fundraise for Companion Animal Care of Brevard County, through the next quarter. We're at $1,600.00 so far...not to shabby!

While you're out and about with your pups this summer, hydration is a must! Daisysdogcollars.com has the perfect solution for that. Check out our travel water bottles, they come in 3 colors. Mention the newsletter and we'll take $5 off your purchase through the end of the month.

Sidewalks and pavement can get scorching hot! Walk during early mornings or evenings, and try paw wax or booties for extra protection. Provide shade or a cool indoor space when temperatures climb. Cooling mats, fans, and frozen treats are pup-approved ways to chill out. During the holiday fireworks, create a calm/safe zone inside your home. Try soothing music, calming sprays, or a snug anxiety vest if your dog gets nervous.

Not all dogs are natural swimmers. Daisy is one of them. She loves the Ocean as long as she can keep her feet on the ground. Same goes for pools... she'll sit on the steps, but that's about it. Keep a close eye near pools or lakes and consider a doggy life vest for extra safety. Don’t forget flea, tick, and heartworm prevention! Summer is peak season, so keep your dog covered with vet-approved preventatives.

The rescue organizations for Daisy's Cause are chosen by your suggestions on our website, daisysdogcollars.com, where you can email us through our Contact page. While you're there, check out Daisy's Blog for July; Dog Days of
Summer: Keeping Cool & Staying Safe.

We value and appreciate your ongoing support. With your input, we look forward to serving you even better. We hope you enjoyed this newsletter and we'll keep you updated next month.
